Forspoken Update 1.002 Patch Notes

- Adjustments have been made to the HDR mode
- Localisation and spelling fixes
- Various minor fixes
- Certain technical issues occurring on Steam Deck have been fixed
- Performance and stability has been improved on Steam Deck
As you can see, these are all technical alterations that should hopefully improve your playing experience if you were running into issues outside of the game's actual quality.
The improvement to Steam Deck performance should also be a big plus, as it will in theory allow you to explore the endless fields on Athia on the go. Considering the astonishing Forspoken PC system requirements, having the game run on Deck would be a real achievement.
However, as per a report from PCGamesN, this update appears to have caused more issues for users playing on PC. It was already difficult enough to get your machine to start the game up, but now it seems as if people are experiencing severe stutters and even full system crashes. Hopefully, this can be dealt with quickly enough, as Forspoken otherwise appears to be in a near-unplayable state for many on PC.
