You might be wondering about unlocking the best necklace and cloak in Forspoken, as it is tied to a rather tricky achievement you might have missed so far.

While there are plenty of cloaks and necklaces that you can pick up in the game, there are two original pieces of equipment that are rather hidden. Follow our rundown below to learn more.

How to craft the best necklace and cloak

To craft both the Unbroken Cloak and the Home Sweet Hell necklace you must first head to a crafting table. This can be found in any safe house, but there is also one within Cipal if that is more convenient for you.

Then, head to the crafting section and make sure that you have the following ingredients to complete the construction:

  • Unbroken Cloak
    • Three Bumbershoot
    • Three Fluteblossom
    • Three Lucid Garland
  • Home Sweet Hell Necklace
    • Three Bumbershoot
    • Three Fluteblossom
    • Three Lucid Garland

In terms of effects, the Unbroken Cloak gives you the ability to absorb health and boost surge magic recharge rate with critical hits, and also improve surge magic recharge rate when you use a Cuff counter.

Conversely, the Home Sweet Hell necklace gives you a stamina boost when attack magic is used in conjunction with parkour, lets you recover from defenceless states faster, and has your killer blows deal more damage.

Craftsperson Trophy

While it is of course down to personal taste, the 'canon' best necklace and cloak in Forspoken are the two that you need to unlock the Craftsperson trophy. This is a fairly long-winded process, however, as you will need to grind for one specific item a fair amount to even get the chance to make them.

The items in question are the Unbroken Cloak and the Home Sweet Hell necklace. Contrary to the standard methods of acquiring gear throughout the game, these two items must be crafted by Frey through the Sewing Kit.

This particular Sewing Kit is the likely blocker to you getting your hands on the best cloak and necklace in Forspoken though, so check out below to find out how to get it.

The Sewing Kit can only be purchased from the Curiosity Shop - a hidden merchant home to intriguing items - and will set you back a whopping 64 Old Coins. This is arguably the most expensive item in the whole game, and you will have to do some serious grinding to reach that total.

If you've not found the Curiosity Shop yet though, you must first head to Inner Visoria. On the map, you will want to find the large mountain at the centre of the area, and then to the west of it, you will be able to find the Curiosity Shop.

If you've not explored the area though, it might be a good idea to activate the Inner Visoria Belfry which is on the eastern side of the mountain, as that should unlock the shop's map marker.

Once you've got to the shop, all you need to do is head inside and speak to the break-zombie and their catalogue should become available to you, letting you purchase the Sewing Kit if you have the right amount of Old Coins.

If you're running short though, Old Coins can be found throughout Athia. Most commonly they are sourced within chests, but they can also be picked up as rewards from Detours and also as rare drops in the open world.
