Despite being one of the earliest hunts in Final Fantasy 16, the Belphegor boss location won't just be handed to you in the game. Like all hunt locations on the Hunt Board, you need to follow the clues to locate this Notorious Mark for yourself.

Alternatively, you can use this guide to tell you the exact Final Fantasy 16 Belphegor location, along with the strategy and rewards for completing the hunt.

Where is Belphegor in Final Fantasy 16?

After unlocking Hunt Board during Chapter 25, The Gathering Storm, the Final Fantasy 16 Belphegor location can be found southeast of the Eastpool Obelisk fast travel point in Rosaria.

Specifically, as marked in the image above, the location of the FF16 Belphegor hunt is at the dead-end cliff south of the Broken Hilt.

Simply head towards the marked point from Eastpool, veer left towards the checkmark, fight or avoid the enemies towards the cliff, and you'll see the Notorious Mark Belphegor as you approach.

How to hunt Belphegor

Although a mere Rank B Notorious Mark boss, just finding the FF16 Belphegor location doesn't ensure a quick and easy victory. Whilst easily dodgeable fire attacks are in this Wyvern's arsenal, the biggest concerns lie in its frequent slash and dive attacks - all of which deal massive damage.

Belphegor is father fast, making you need to find the opportune time to dodge and counter with your Eikon abilities. The ideal strategy to overcome this fast-paced Belphegor fight in FF16 is factoring in high-stagger moves like Garuda's Gougue into your Eikon move set.

Once staggered, chaining onto Belphegor your remaining Eikon abilities uninterrupted, boosted further by using Limit Break, will make the overall hunt that much easier to finish. It will just overall require a bit of extra patience.

As a reward for completing the FF16 Belphegor hunt, you will be rewarded with 2 x Dragon Talon, 700 Exp, 60 AP, 8000 Gil, and 20 Renown.

That's all you need to know about the Final Fantasy 16 Belphegor hunt location, along with the strategy and hunt rewards in FF16
