In Final Fantasy 16, the Angel of Death location for the namesake boss' hunt can easily be lost on players who don't know where to look. That's because even though it's a Rank C hunt, you still have to figure out where to go in order to find this Notorious Mark.

So, let's get into the exact spot of where to go in this Final Fantasy 16 guide on the Angel of Death hunt location.

Where is Aruna in FF16?

As shown in the circled map image above, the Final Fantasy 16 Angel of Death hunt location is a quick walk through Claireview, southwest of the Northreach Obelisk fast travel point in Sanbreque. Once there, a twenty-second sprint or ten-second ride by Chocobo will take you to Aruna's habitat.

She'll be quickly visible from a distance flying around in front of the castle walls. Approach her at any time and the hunt's combat sequence will begin.

Thankfully, defeating Aruna and completing the Angel of Death hunt in Final Fantasy 16 is pretty straightforward, given that it's only Rank C.

Her standard attack patterns involve moving swiftly to hit you with charging and slash attacks, along with using projectiles in between. Unlike harder bosses, these patterns are very easy to predict and pre-emptively dodge to follow up with your numerous Eikon abilities and numerous melee attacks.

On the other hand, if you want to make the Aruna boss fight as quick as possible, you should prioritize high-Stagger attacks like Gouge in your Eikon ability moveset. That way, you'll be able to Stagger the Angel of Death more often and bombard her with follow-up strikes whilst she's unable to move about the battlefield.

If you time a Stagger right, you'll also be able to chain all of your recharged Eikon abilities all at once. By executing them all without being interrupted, you can deplete Aruna's health a lot faster.

Along with 402 Exp, 40 Ability Points, 6200 Gil, and 10 Renown, defeating Aruna and completing the FF16 Angel of Death Aruna hunt will also earn you 1 x Clouded Eye

That's all you need to know on how to find and defeat Aruna in FF16, thanks to our Final Fantasy 16 Angel of Death hunt location guide.
