Once there, a twenty-second sprint or ten-second ride by Chocobo will take you to Aruna's habitat.
She'll be quickly visible from a distance flying around in front of the castle walls. Approach her at any time and the hunt's combat sequence will begin.

That way, you'll be able to Stagger the Angel of Death more often and bombard her with follow-up strikes whilst she's unable to move about the battlefield.
If you time a Stagger right, you'll also be able to chain all of your recharged Eikon abilities all at once. By executing them all without being interrupted, you can deplete Aruna's health a lot faster.
