The minigame Queen's Blood has not only taken the world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth by storm, it's also captured my heart - but I wouldn't have got far or claimed the top rank without the best cards and deck.

From the lowly Security Officer to the Shadowblood Queen, every card has a potential place in your deck, but finding the perfect combination in-game is a bit more tricky. Certain bosses, for example, can require specific setups, but you'll largely be able to cruise through any opponent if you're using the cards I've learned to love.

Having your deck filled with all of the best cards isn't the route to victory though as a great deck requires balance to succeed. Triple pawn cards might be the flashiest, but you'll never get to use them if you don't have any singles after all.

This is the deck that I used for most of the mid-to-late-game battles, save for a few additions here and there as I picked them up. The Gold Saucer is perhaps the most important place in the game for building your deck, as so many staples can be added to your lineup by earning QB Points.

Do take into account that this deck might not work for you if you prefer a more aggressive and card-removal-based style, as I prefer to win games by having space and overwhelming my opponent with sheer numbers. This worked so well for me though, and I found myself regularly winning 40+-0 against even the toughest opponents - although the Shadowblood Queen managed to fool me for quite some time!

Midgardsormr Deck

Cactuar Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 3 while this card is in play.
Cappawire x2 When played, lower the power of allied and enemy cards on affected tiles by 1.
Crystalline Crab Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 2 while this card is in play.
Flametrooper When destroyed, lower the power of allied and enemy cards on affected tiles by 3.
Grenadier When played, lower the power of enemy cards on affected tiles by 4.
J-Unit Sweeper None
Midgardsormr When allied and enemy cards are destroyed, raise this card's power by 1
Mindflayer Lower the power of allied and enemy cards on affected tiles by 1 while this card is in play.
Posh Chocobo When you win the lane, receive a score bonus of 3.
Spearhawk Raise the power of allies cards on affected tiles by 2 while this card is in play.
Titan When played, raise position ranks by 2.
Tonberry King When allied cards are destroyed, raise this card's power by 2.
Toxirat When played, lower the power of allied and enemy cards on affected tiles by 3.

The Midgardsormr deck in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

The Midgardsormr, of course, is one of the most notorious enemies in the entire Final Fantasy franchise and renowned for being a near-unstoppable force (until Sephiroth gets involved that is) - so this deck revolves around enhancing the might of the Midgardsormr.

The card itself is relentless and builds its power through the destruction of allied and enemy cards alike, so you'll find that the cards here, like the Mindflayer or Grenadier focus on removing cards from play to enhance the Midgardsormr's power.

Alongside it, I've thrown in a Tonberry King, which also revels in the destruction of allies as you'll see above, as well as some cards like the Crystalline Crab and Spearhawk to bolster the power even further. If you weren't scared of the Midgardsormr in the base game, then you'll certainly be scared of it in Queen's Blood.

Enhance to Advance Deck

Queen's Blood Card Ability
Cactuar x2 Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 3 while this card is in play.
Chocobo & Moogle Raise power by 1 for each other enhanced allied card.
Crystalline Crab x2 Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 2 while this card is in play.
Ifrit Raise power by 2 for each other enhanced allied card.
Magic Pot Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 2 while this card is in play.
Mu x2 Raise the power of allied cards on affected tiles by 1 while this card is in play.
Posh Chocobo When you win the lane, receive a score bonus of 3.
Shiva When played, spawn Diamond Dust of power 2, 4, or 6 in empty positions.
Scrutineye Raise the power of allied and enemy cards on affected tiles by 1 while this card is in play.
Spearhawk Raise the power of allies cards on affected tiles by 2 while this card is in play.
Titan When played, raise position ranks by 2.

While the previous deck was built on destruction, this Queen's Blood deck focuses solely on raising the power of as many cards as possible, with cards like Cactuar and Crystalline Crab boosting the overall power of allies like Chocobo & Moogle.

The cards of your Summons are pivotal here, as they will go ahead and help enhance the bulk of the board. For example, If you should find yourself at an impasse, Shiva is always a surefire way to fill in some of the blanks and get some cards on the board before your opponent.

Getting Titan on the board will lead to the overall positions being raised so you can get some of your higher-power cards out relatively early, like the Magic Pot, which will enhance various cards in a wider area.
