Escape Academy The Tea Kettle Walkthrough

Our Escape Academy The Tea Kettle walkthrough will help you brew the perfect cuppa for Professor Bonilla in this vibrant level that takes place in the academy's greenhouse. The Escape Academy levels vary wildly in their goals, with many of them not just challenging you to escape from a specific room. The Tea Kettle is one such example where your overall goal is to brew some tea, with some challenges in the way. Escape Academy The Tea Kettle Walkthrough: Propane Tank
Click to enlargeThe Tea Kettle level is made up of three main parts, which involves acquiring the Propane Tank, Tea Leaves, and then turning on the water. You'll want to begin with the Propane Tank to make the process simpler.
- Once you begin, when facing the tea brewing station, turn left and go into the area with the big doll house. You will find the Garden Shovel stuck into the ground here.
- Take the Garden Shovel to the other side of the greenhouse, and you will find two dirt areas with an X on them. Interact with both, and use the shovel to dig up the dirt. One will reward you with the Professor's Necklace, and the other will give you a Sereni-Tea Seed.
Click to enlarge- With the Professor's Necklace, you will be able to solve the puzzle to access the doll house. If you look in the middle of the greenhouse, on the tree, you can see a love heart with the writing "AB+" on it. If you also inspect the Professor's Necklace, you will notice it has the initials of "KZ." Head to the doll house, interact with the padlock, and input "A-B-K-Z" to open it up.
- Inside here, there is a small round table with a green box on top. Inside you can find four Strange Tiles to pick up. Head to the other side of the greenhouse and you will see the large cabinet with some tiles on the front.
Click to enlarge- If you interact with this, you will be able to place the tiles into four specific slots, and a post-it note next to them reads "there's a pattern to the evolution." Essentially, you have to follow the evolution pattern from the bottom and figure out how they cause the tiles to change. You can find the solution pictured above.
- Once the cabinet is open, you can find a few things inside. Firstly, there is a fuel canister used to fill The Beast, which you will pick up later. You can also pick up a Propane Tank for the tea-brewing process.

Escape Academy The Tea Kettle Walkthrough: Tea Leaves
Click to enlarge- To start the process for finding the Tea Leaves, you will need to head back to the doll house. Inside, on the left side, there is a display case with some different coloured cups in a seemingly random order. On the other wall is a board with some tools that you can switch around. Using the display case, you can figure out the pattern, which is: grey = screw, red = paintbrush, blue = wrench. The order is screw, paintbrush, paintbrush, wrench, wrench, paintbrush, paintbrush, and screw.
- With the right pattern, the board will move to reveal The Beast inside a little cubby. Pick it up so you can now access the other greenhouse sections.
- Head outside of the doll house, and use The Beast on the nearest door. This will clear the vines and open it up, while also running the fuel down on the chainsaw.
- You will now have access to a lab section, with some different equipment, and a large vat which contains the Tea Leaves. To get these, you will need to solve a DNA-sequencing puzzle.
Click to enlarge- Start by using the Sereni-Tea Seed on the weighing machine at the back of the room. This should list them at 0.23 grams, and using the chart on the wall with the different weights will give you a code of "GTT."
Click to enlarge- Looking at the other charts, you should see a diagram of a cell along with one that gives you the second part of the code depending on the Chloroplast count. Take a good look at the cell diagram and memorise what the Chloroplasts look like. Afterwards, interact with the microscope in the centre of the room and place the Sereni-Tea Seed under it. You should count eight Chloroplasts, and using the chart you will get the second part of the code, which is "-TAG."
- Now you can head to the vat with the leaves inside, and using the buttons in front, input the code "GTT-TAG". This will open the vat and reward you with the Tea Leaves.
Escape Academy The Tea Kettle Walkthrough: Turning On The Water
Click to enlarge- To start the final part of turning the water on, head to the cabinet where you found the Propane Tank and fill The Beast with the fuel canister. Use it on the second vine-covered door and open the final section of the level.
- Once you go inside, on your left will be a board where you can pick up a piece of paper called Research Findings, which tells you how to solve the flower puzzle on the other side of the glass.
Click to enlarge- Now go to the glass and interact with the gloves so you can begin to move the flowers around. Use the Research Findings to find the correct order, but in letter order, it should go DCABE. This will attract different coloured butterflies to each flower.
- Take a note of the butterflies, and then head to the orange cupboard on the right of the room. There will be some buttons with coloured butterflies and writing with the highlighted letters, BADBEE. The trick for this is to note the colour of the butterflies above each letter. You should get the order of pink, green, blue, pink, yellow, and yellow. Input this onto the buttons on the cupboard, and it will open.
Click to enlarge- Inside of the cupboard is an item called Bee-B-Gone. Take this out of the room and use it on the swarm of bees next to the valve for the water to make them go. You can now turn the valve to turn on the water.

Escape Academy The Tea Kettle Walkthrough: Making The Tea
Click to enlargeHead back to the station in the middle for making tea. There will be a board nearby with the instructions for making the tea. Turn the water on, replace the Propane Tank, and then steep the Tea Leaves, which will make the tea for you and end the level.
