Escape Academy The Entrance Exam Walkthrough
The Escape Academy The Entrance Exam level is a bit of a step up from the prologue, featuring more puzzles to solve that ultimately involves figuring out the full name of the academy's headmaster. Escape Academy teaches players the art of escape, while tasking you with graduating from the academy by solving a series of increasingly difficult escape rooms. Escape Academy The Entrance Exam Walkthrough: Headmaster's Last Name
Click to enlargeThe overall puzzle for The Entrance Exam involves the player figuring out the full name of the Headmaster and then inputting it on a computer to escape. The first name you will want to figure out is the last name.
- As soon as you are given control, to your left and next to the exit door there will be a coat rack you can interact with to pick up the Small Key.
- With the Small Key, head over to the large desk in the middle of the room, and behind it, you will find a drawer with a lock on it. Use the key to open the lock, and inside you can find a Group Photo and a Screwdriver.
Click to enlarge- Head back toward the coat rack, and on its right side there is a vent that can be taken off by using the Screwdriver. You'll be able to crawl inside, and at the end there will be a telephone number written on the vent, which is 952-424.
- Leave the vent and go back to the desk, where you can find a telephone on top. Interact with and input the telephone number from the previous step. A character called Jeb will answer and reveal that the Headmaster's last name is Solange.
Escape Academy The Entrance Exam Walkthrough: Headmaster's First Name
Click to enlargeYour next step should be figuring out the Headmaster's first name.
- To the left of the exit door, there will be a small desk with a briefcase on top of it. The briefcase has a picture of a clock face, a potted plant, and a trophy, with the words "I'm counting on you" written below.
- Looking around the room, you need to count the number of clocks, plants, and trophies and input the three-digit code onto the lock. There are two clocks, five plants, and three trophies, making the briefcase code is '2-5-3.'
Click to enlarge- Once unlocked, inside you can find three printed pictures of the Headmaster in Greece, Japan, and Egypt. They also have years written on them, which are 1991, 1954, and 1975 respectively.
Click to enlarge- Turn to your left, and you will find a bunch of shelves against the wall. One of them has books with various countries written on them. Using the pictures from the briefcase, you will need to interact with the correct books in date order, which is Japan-Egypt-Greece. This will cause the secret door to open.
- Once you enter this secret room, directly opposite you is a fireplace with a fox mask mounted on a plaque above. If you go into your inventory and select the Group Photo, you will notice everyone has animal masks on, and the person with the fox mask is called Sandy. This is the Headmaster's first name.
Escape Academy The Entrance Exam Walkthrough: Middle Name
Click to enlargeThe last part of this name puzzle is figuring out the middle name of the Headmaster.
- Head back into the office room, and on the other end of the room on the right-side, there is a small table with a Floppy Disk on top (if you haven't already picked it up). Grab this and head back into the secret room.
- Directly on your right in this secret room is a computer that says ">insert disk." Interact with it and use the Floppy Disk, which prompts a new screen that reads "DEAD." This is a clue for the next step.
Click to enlarge- In the corner to the left of the computer is a large piano which has some letters on the keys. Interact with the piano and select the keys that spell out D-E-A-D, which will cause the top of the piano to pop up, allowing you to pick up a UV Lightbulb.
Click to enlarge- Head to the opposite corner of the secret room, and you will find a broken display case with a certificate in the middle and some lamps above. One of them is broken, and you can interact with it to screw in the UV Lightbulb. This reveals hidden ink on the certificate, revealing the Headmaster's middle name to be Jacqueline.

Click to enlargeBack in the main office room, to the left of the exit door, there is a console that can be interacted with. It displays three names which can be changed with arrow buttons in either side. Change the name so it reads Sandra Jacqueline Solange, and then press Unlock at the bottom. You will now be able to leave the room, and you have successfully passed The Entrance Exam.
