So, how long is the actual game? According to a Famitsu interview (translated by Aitakimochi on Twitter), it takes the average player 35-40 hours to beat the game's story. This information comes from Final Fantasy 16 director Naoki Yoshida. Completionists require 70 to 80 hours of their time to get everything finished. That's going to be tough for the diehard trophy hunters out there.
Final Fantasy 16 will be released on June 22 exclusively for the PS5. Sorry PS4 and Xbox fans. This grand JRPG may release on PC after its six-month exclusivity window on PS5.
