What Are The Best CARV.2 Warzone Loadout Attachments?
You didn't really think that the burst meta was over, did you? No chance.
Just as the developers decided enough was enough with the rampant M16 and AUG domination that had Warzone feeling like stale bread, the meta was scraped back to its bare bones. A range of Assualt Rifles such as the Krig-6, FARA 83, and even a resurgent Grau has been paired with the new PPSH SMG or a short-range FFAR, making it the most mixed meta we've seen in months.
However, a spanner has been thrown into the works, with the addition of the CARV.2 Tactical Rifle.
Following the same build as the old Black Ops G11, the CARV.2 has come into Warzone with pretty much no recoil and an insane time-to-kill rate with a rapid burst speed.
To get the most out of your new insanely powerful weapon before it faces an inevitable nerf, here is a guide to the best CARV.2 Warzone loadout.
How to unlock the CARV.2 In Warzone
As the third weapon added in Warzone Season 3, the CARV.2 will need you to complete a challenge before you begin to run rampant with it across Verdansk '84.
- Using Tactical Rifles, rapidly kill two or more players in 10 different completed matches.
The quickest way of doing this challenge is either in Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, on objective-based game modes or selected gunfight playlists that allow for custom weapons. Free to play Warzone players may need to dive into Plunder or a mini-royale and equip either the AUG or M16 and chain together some quick kills, although armour and self-revives can often slow down these rapid kills.
Best CARV.2 Warzone Loadout Attachments
With such low recoil and a fire rate as masterful as the CARV.2, it can be difficult to figure out where to best optimise your Tactical Rifle through its attachments. Adding a bit of speed and range is beneficial, as is sound suppression to keep you off the map like a stealthy assassin.
- Muzzle - Agency Suppressor
- Barrel - 20.8" Strike Team
- Underbarrel - Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition - STANAG 54 Round Drum
- Stock - Raider Pad
- (Preferential: Optic - Sillix Holoscout)
The Agency Suppressor is the most valuable attachment, adding a lot of range whilst keeping you off the map. The 20.8" Strike Team is an overlooked attachment, but for the CARV.2, it comes as the best barrel, limiting the cons whilst adding so much effectivity.
The Raider Pad does replace - and add some - of the movement speed that is lost through the other attachments, making it a good fifth attachment. However, some players may prefer to wield an optic instead, of which the Holoscout is the most favourable for its body.
Best CARV.2 Warzone Loadout Perks
Matching the CARV.2 with a weapon that can get right up in someone's face will be best, as, despite being pretty comfortable against 90% of weapon in proximity, the likes of the FFAR and PPSH still come out on top.
- Secondary - PPSH-41 SMG
- Perk 1 - Double Time
- Perk 2 - Ghost
- Perk 3 - Amped
- Lethal - Throwing Knife
- Tactical - Heartbeat Sensor
Matching enemies in the secondary department will be needed, leaving the very close gunfights down to pure skill. For this reason, Amped and Double Time are efficient too, allowing a swift change of weapons and the ability to engage or fall back without catching a clip to the back of your head.
A Throwing Knife is always handy to kill players up close, although players with a more calculated approach may prefer a Semtex or Thermite Grenade.
With this combination, you'll be a victor of Verdansk in no time, sporting the best CARV.2 Warzone loadout.
