Devin Booker, superstar of the NBA (Basketball for those non-hoopers), is the latest icon to be added to Call of Duty's celebrity series, as he will officially come as an Operator in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

The Phoenix Suns shooting guard has always professed his love for Call of Duty, often streaming Warzone after practice hours, and even joining other CoD stars on ventures onto the battle royale maps over the years.

But after joining CoD's icon series in the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded update, his in-game look has been shared, and players are pretty baffled at the John Wick-like attire.

Booker will be joining Kevin Durant as the second NBA star to join Call of Duty after the Slim Reaper himself confessed that he was the best player in the entire league at shooting (figuratively).

Yet his skin is hardly recognisable of someone who is a sports athlete, as he has instead opted to combine with Activision to have the Operator dressed head-to-toe in a sleek tuxedo.

The Booker skin does sport his signature beanie hat, but aside from that, players have drawn stark comparisons to John Wick, whose Fortnite collab was almost identical.

With no signature basketball jerseys or appearances, the only tellable sign that this is Booker is simply his face, and fans of the superstar are baffled as to why there are no Suns references or even any homages to the sport they love.

Particularly, the social media crowd has claimed it's a B-Tec John Wick.

"Who the fuck is Devin Booker and why does he look like Temu John Wick?" quizzed on fan.

Another added, "What a terrible concept for Booker, bro wants to be John Wick with a bigger dog."

Booker's bundle will also come with two weapon blueprints with a "swish" tracer round which might be the basketball references that the community desires, but the skin itself might not be the most popular choice at all.
