Here is a full list of every new weapon and gadget coming to Battlefield 2042 in Season 6 Dark Creations:

  • VHX D3
    • Assault Rifle, highly portable and effective at close-medium range
  • L9CZ
    • Semi-automatic Sidearm with high accuracy
  • G428
    • DMR with exceptional accuracy and substantial penetration capabilities
  • Pouches
    • Support gadget, available in both Ammo and Health varieties

I'm personally very much looking forward to the G428 as I love the accuracy and power that you get from a DMR across all ranges. The VHX D3 will certainly be something that I pick on the new close-quarters map though, and the new supportive Pouches will come in handy at any opportunity.

The new vehicle that is arriving with Battlefield 2042 Season 6 Dark Creations is the YUV-2 "Pondhawk". This is a dynamic two-person vehicle that can help you get both in and out of combat with speed and efficiency and is definitely something that I will be using to navigate the numerous maps and take my enemies by surprise.

It will not be available on the new map, however, as all vehicles are prohibited - but you will be able to try it out and take advantage of its speed on every other map in the game.

With the new season comes an entirely new battle pass, letting players earn over 100 tiers of rewards from new weapons, vehicles, cosmetics, and more. As always, any new gameplay-affecting items like guns or vehicles are available on the free path.

There is also a new Battle Pass Ultimate Pack that lets you skip 20 tiers of the Premium Pass and gain access to new and exclusive skins like 'Glorified' for Falck or the 'Edge Detection' weapon skin.

Redacted is the new map in Battlefield 2042 Season 6 Dark Creations, bringing players to a research facility in the Outer Hebrides that houses a disturbing secret yet to be uncovered.

This map is non-vehicle, bringing close-quarters action to the fold that will likely remind many players of the claustrophobia of classics like Operation Metro and Operation Locker.

As a non-vehicle map, this area is entirely indoors and is the first in a series of similar maps to come that transform the large-scale warfare of Battlefield into a new tighter environment.

There are also a number of new quality-of-life changes arriving with Dark Creations that should hopefully make the game feel better and more balanced as a whole:

  • Improvements to Aim Assist on console to increase fairness in cross-play scenarios
  • Tweaked tank turning and vehicle speed
  • Adjusted gravity for land vehicles when in-air
  • Improved Jet handling
  • Reworked Rao's hacking ability, meaning that it no longer block fired on vehicles, and instead damages states on the targeted vehicle
  • Enemies hacked with Rao's ability will reveal information on nearby soldiers when they die
  • EMP grenades now match new hacking behaviour
  • Caspar's Recon drone now matches new hacking behaviour

That wraps up everything we know so far about Season 6 Dark Creations in Battlefield 2042, letting you stay prepared before jumping into the action.
