Here's how you unlock Wraith’s Hope’s Dawn Kunai Heirloom in Apex Legends

Want to flex the brand-new Wraith's Hope's Dawn Kunai Heirloom in Apex Legends? One of the fan-favourite Apex Legends, Wraith, now has two different Kunai Heirlooms.

Let's review the process of unlocking this fancy new heirloom.

How to unlock Hope’s Dawn

To unlock Wraith's new Kunai Heirloom, you must obtain all 24 items in the Imperial Guard Collection Event. After that, you can unlock Hope’s Dawn for no additional cost.

After the Imperial Guard Collection Event ends, you can grab it in the in-game Mythics store tab for 150 Heirloom Shards.

How much does it cost?

Unlocking Hope’s Dawn is a pricey endeavour - but there is a strategy that can save you some quid.

The cheapest way to get this exciting variant for Wraith's Kunai is to first progress through the Imperial Guard Collection Event's reward tracker. Inside the reward tracker are two Collection Event Packs that'll award you with two of the twenty-four Collection Event items for free.

Now, to unlock the remaining 22 items, you must spend either Crafting Metals or Apex Coins. Each Collection Event Pack costs 700 Apex Coins, so to get all 22 additional items, you will need to spend 15,400 Apex Coins. This comes out to roughly £110.

However, if you have Crafting Metals lying around, you can acquire the Heirloom for significantly cheaper. For this Collection Event only, all Crafting Metal prices for event items are reduced by 50%. For example, Legendaries that usually cost 2,400 Crafting Metals to craft only cost 1,200.

So, to save on Hope’s Dawn, you should first unlock the free Collection Event Packs via the reward tracker, then craft as many of the event items as you can with Crafting Metals. Finally, unlock the remaining event items by purchasing Collection Event Packs with Apex Coins.

Which Kunai Heirloom is better?

While Hope’s Dawn is advertised as a recolour of Hope's Dusk, there are some differences.

The Hope's Dawn Kunai Heirloom comes bundled with the Mythic Hope's Blossom Banner and the Practice Makes Perfect Emote. The Hope's Dusk Kunai Heirloom, however, comes with the Fearless Banner Pose and a Mythic Intro Quip.

As of Season 16, both of Wraith's Kunai Heirloom sets feature overhauled animations and VFX to bring them more in line with the recent Heirloom releases.
