The error that just states "no server found" has been plaguing Apex Legends players for quite some time now. Unfortunately, there's no one clear trigger for this issue, so solving it can require elaborate troubleshooting attempts. With that said, the solutions listed below are a near surefire fix for the error, so let's get straight into them.

The error solutions

Check The Status Of The Apex Legends Servers

The most common reason for the "No servers found" error is an issue with the Apex Legends servers themselves. Conveniently, this is also the easiest of the solutions to carry out.

To check the status of the Apex Legends servers, you can visit Apex Legends Status or Apex Legends Down Detector. These two sites keep up-to-date tabs on the status of Apex’s servers.

If it's an issue with the actual Apex Legends servers, there's not much you can do on your end. Just wait out the storm and hope the issue sorts itself out in time. When the servers are back up, the "no servers found" error should be resolved.

Change Your Apex Legends Server

Sometimes it might just be one or two servers, in particular, experiencing issues. If that's the case, try switching your server in-game.

To switch servers, launch Apex Legends and look for the Data Center option at the bottom of the main menu. Here, you can select which server you want to play on. You may have to suffer through higher-than-normal ping depending on the server you switch to, but that's better than the alternative right?

Check For Apex Legends Updates

A non-up-to-date version could be the catalyst behind your "no servers found" error. While you can turn on automatic updates, and some updates must be downloaded before the game can be played, occasionally Apex will let you launch it without downloading the latest patch or update.

Check your settings or properties and make sure that the game is fully up to date. If it’s not, install any and all available updates/patches. Once you ensure that everything is up to date, launch the game and see if the issue is resolved.

Check Your Internet Connection and Power Cycle Your Router

If the issue has to do with something on your end, checking your internet connection and power cycling the router is the go-to fix.

If your internet is down, obviously you're going to have some issues booting up Apex Legends. However, sometimes there can be underlying problems that you might need some help to catch.

A quick visit to speedtest.net will give you a good idea of the overall quality of your internet connection. If you notice anything unusual like an abnormally high ping, it's probably time to power cycle your router.

To power cycle your router, follow these simple steps:

  • First, turn off the Wi-Fi router
  • Next, unplug the power cable from the router
  • Leave everything turned off and unplugged for about two minutes
  • Plug the power cable back into the router and turn the router back on

Now, check if there are any visual improvements to your internet speed and try starting up Apex Legends again.

Try Switching Apex Legends Launchers

Last but not least, playing on a new launcher should fix any peculiar login issues that you're having.

Apex Legends is available on PC on both Origin and Steam. If you typically play on Steam, try downloading and booting up on the Origin launcher. Vice versa, if you usually use Origin, give it a go on Steam.

This solution requires you to download Apex Legends a second time on the new launcher, so save this method for last as it's probably the most time-consuming.

Contact Respawn Entertainment And Submit A Support Ticket

If all else fails, reach out to Respawn Entertainment for help by sending in a support ticket. To formulate a support ticket, visit EA's official help site. In your ticket, describe the issue you're experiencing in detail along with a list of the troubleshooting methods you have already tried. Ideally, Respawn will respond back in due time with some much-needed guidance.

We wouldn't wish the pain of being locked out of your favourite game on anyone. Hopefully, the troubleshooting methods above help you to fix the PC error — once and for all.

The error triggers

While issues like lag and high ping can oftentimes be blamed on the user's connection, the Apex Legends "no server found" error is usually a problem on Respawn Entertainment's end.

Apex Legends is as popular as ever, but the servers can't always keep up with the demand. Long-time players are more than familiar with Apex's long list of server issues.

When the servers get overloaded, the result can be a "no servers found" error message. But in Respawn's defence, it's not always server-side issues that trigger this specific error.

The above list of solutions should alleviate you from the Apex Legends "no servers found" PC error — whether it's on your end or Respawn's.
