Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter has left fans puzzled following a cryptic tweet in which she said she's been an offered a 'month-long' opportunity away from home.

YouTuber Valkyrae is one of the most instantly recognisable faces on the platform. As co-owner of 100 Thieves, she's helped blaze the trail for aspiring female streamers also hoping to make a name for themselves in a male-dominated career. With 3.65 subs on the platform from all around the world, it's no surprise that Valkyrae is often approached to take part in projects across the globe.

Now, Valkyrae has revealed she's at a crossroads about what to do after being offered a 'month-long' opportunity away from home, leading fans to question if this could mean her taking a break from streaming.

Valkyrae Reveals She's Been Offered A Month-Long Opportunity Abroad

In a tweet posted on March 31, Valkyrae said: "I was just offered an opportunity to do something that may take over a month to complete and out of the country. Exciting but scary and how am I supposed to stream and lots to think about." She continued by saying she doesn't know "when and if" she should say yes to doing it.

Despite the 30-year-old's fears that the project might mean her not being able to stream for a while, her Twitter page was flooded with supportive messages telling her to go for it. Some even responded with one of her own tweets from March 29 in which she stated: "Personally I feel the possibility of failing at something is better than never knowing the outcome! It’s worth trying if it's something you want.. I would be more afraid of losing the opportunity to try."

What Is Valkyrae's Secret 'Month-Long' Opportunity?

Valkyrae didn't share any details about her secret opportunity, but hopefully, it won't be too long before we find out if she decides to go ahead with it. Her fans were supportive of her taking the opportunity, with one fan saying that whatever the opportunity is, it would make for the "coolest vlog content ever."

The YouTuber did seem worried that the project would affect her ability to stream. However, her fans reassured her that they would be able to survive without her for the month if she chose to go. After all, Valkyrae had to have a two-week break from streaming before resigning with YouTube and the sky didn't fall in, so a month will probably be alright too.

So, Valkyrae's got a big decision ahead of her. The opportunity may get in the way of streaming, but one thing's for certain is that her loyal fanbase will be waiting patiently until her return.
