With a new duo of Pokemon games are on the way, fans are obviously making attempts to pick the games apart already, with only two trailers worth of details to work with when it comes to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

It's typical at this point, with the fan base for the 'Mon-catching franchise being about as dedicated as any other. Plus, with rumours and suggestions of a "past vs future" narrative theme, the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet look incredibly exciting, and could yet bring to the franchise an experience we've never seen before. Now, new leaks are putting these rumours under the microscope - and some have been confirmed.

Is Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Getting New Eeveelutions?

As fans debate what could be yet to come to the franchise, new leaks courtesy of the Twitter account Centro Leaks has suggested that there's some concrete evidence to believe when it comes to Scarlet and Violet.

The tweet contains a list of information gleaned from CentroLeaks' unnamed source (so, of course, take this with a pinch of salt), and it includes the information that players will be offered the chance to let their Pokemon travel through time.

Players themselves won't be able to travel through time, but for whatever reason that will likely become clearer closer to release, Pokemon have gained the ability to traverse the timelines. CentroLeaks has also now deconfirmed the appearance of a new Eevee evolution. It is a feature that many fans had convinced themselves to be true, who are likely to now be devastated by the news.

Will Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Be Missing Any Pokemon?

It doesn't end there though, as the leak reveals some of the Pokemon that won't be appearing in the new game. With 913 'Mon currently in the Pokedex at the time of writing, this number is set to boom with the arrival of Gen VIII in Scarlet and Violet. There simply isn't enough room for you all.

The tweet goes on to reveal that Joltik, Milotic, Wailord, Metagross, Jynx, and Golurk will not be appearing in the Pokedex this time around. It's another disappoint for many fans, but to be fair, Wailord is a hell of a lot to render. There are a lot of changes clearly coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and not all of them will make fans happy - but such is the way with new Pokemon games. Bring them on.
