It was only a matter of time before the esports giants decided they were going to monopolise the potential of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, with Panda Global being the world's first professional team to launch its own Fall Guys roster.

Despite the simple premise of Fall Guys pitting 60 bouncing beans against each other and one competitor nabbing the crown, there have been talks about how it could be reworked from an esports perspective. After Mediatonic's tiny title with a big heart launched on August 4, it didn't take long for Panda Global to sink its claws into this untapped market.

The team is officially called Fall Pandas, which conjures up images of those adorable videos where pandas fall off various logs and platforms in their zoo enclosures. Here's hoping Fall Pandas are less clumsy than their real-life counterparts. The team is headed up by streamer Zak "CONEY” Zeeks, who recently won ten/o’s Fall Guys Friday Frenzy Team Invitational with The Pogging Polygon team.

CONEY seems like a logical choice considering his Twitter bio already claims he's a "Fall Guys World Champion". The team is made up of players already sponsored by Panda Global, which isn't that surprising considering all four have played Fall Guys together on a stream since its release. Joining CONEY are Smash Ultimate favourite Tyler "Marss" Martins, Rival of Aether's Joshua "FullStream" Thompson, and Panda Global director of logistics - Joshua "Jaaahsh" Marcotte. They will serve as Wildcard, Specialist, and Support.

While it's an impressive team to tackle Fall Guys, it could've been a little different. YouTuber and PokĂ©mon World Champion Wolfe "Wolfey" Glick just missed out on making the squad after he bottomed out in the qualifying round of Jump Club.

There's no escaping Fall Guys after it overtook League of Legends as the most-streamed game on Twitch - securing an average viewership of 139,801 and regularly peaking at over 600,000. It's unclear how the logistics of the professional Fall Guys scene would work, but when it came to CONEY's win as part of the ten/o tournament, it was whichever team could win the most crowns in 90 minutes.

With the first Twitch Rivals Fall Guys event taking place on August 28, we'll have to wait and see how things evolve. Either way, Fall Pandas looks like a formidable force as Mediatonic's battle royale brawler continues to evolve.
