Ash and Pikachu's adventure is about to come to an end. We're not crying, you're crying. A new era of the Pokemon anime is about to begin, as two new protagonists leading the charge on the adaptation of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

While this is incredibly exciting for Pokemon at large, we're still sorry to see Ash and Pikachu go. After all, we've been with them for so long and saying farewell will be such sweet sorrow.

Before then, we've got a whole mini-series with the duo together to wrap up their story - and we've finally got our first look at the show.

Ash And Pikachu's Final Appearance Gets Its First Look

Well, we supposed it's the beginning of the end. Fans have wondered what to expect from Pokemon: Aim to Be a Pokemon Master, and now, we've got a glimpse of what Ash will be up to on his final adventure

The premiere is slated to air in Japan this week, and to commemorate, we've got some new stills from the show, shared to Twitter by user AnipokeFandom. Yes, it looks like Ash's Mr. Mime is back, chilling with his mum and helping with the housework.

It looks as though we're going to be getting plenty of reunions along the way, as well as hints about what the future holds for the Pokemon anime series - but it's definitely going to be one for the legacy fans of the anime.

Ash And Pikachu's Final Anime Appearance Returns To Pallet Town

For the first time in a whole, the series will be heading back to Pallet Town - Ash's hometown where he met Pikachu for the first time. From the looks of it, Ash's goodbye will hark back to the start of his journey.

The Aim to Be a Pokemon Master stills confirm that we get to meet Professor Oak again, as well as Team Rocket blasting off in a familiar fashion. We've also heard that familiar faces including Misty, Brock, and Cilan will be stopping by.

It's going to be a very emotional farewell, especially for fans who have been along for the ride from the very start in 1997. We're grateful for new Pokemon, but we're certainly sad to bid farewell to an old friend.
