A dataminer has found some code in the latest update of Pokemon Masters EX that appears to reveal the date of the next Pokemon Presents event.

A dataminer has found some code in the latest update of Pokemon Masters EX that appears to reveal the date of the next Pokemon Presents - the series where The Pokémon Company reveals updates and new titles in the franchise.
The event is rumoured to be taking place on 8 August at 1:00pm GMT.
Where has this leak come from?
Pokemon Masters EX is a mobile strategy and battling game for iOS and Android which was released in 2019. In the latest update, version 2.35, fans have found reference to an upcoming campaign titled Pokemon Presents.
CentroLeaks, a well-known dataminer and source of Pokemon leaks, shared the news in a tweet, saying: “It’s happening. From Pokémon Masters EX datamine. Pokémon Presents coming August 8.”
In the attached screenshot showing the code, a reference is made to Campaign_PokemonPresents before referencing the start date of 1691499600 in Unix time, which translates into 8 August 2023.
What can we expect?
There are not currently any remakes or a main series Pokemon games announced by Nintendo. Despite this there is still plenty going on in the Pokemon universe which could be discussed at a Pokémon Presents..
Official release dates for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC 'The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero' has not yet been announced outside of The Teal Mask being set for release in autumn and The Indigo Disk being set for winter 2023.
There is also likely to be news regarding Pokemon Sleep, which released earlier this month, and Pokemon Go as it recently received a major update with the introduction of Routes ahead of Pokémon Go Fest next week.
No official announcement about Pokemon Presents has been made by Nintendo at this stage. It is not unusual for Nintendo to announce a direct only a day or two before the event, so it may be a while before we have any confirmation.
