We're clearly so desperate for details about GTA 6 that we're reaching out to the franchise's old mates. We can't decide whether or not to call ourselves a bit cringe for it.

Players have been tracking down the franchise figureheads to see if they can wheedle any information out of them about their involvement with the new game that has been many years in the making. Annoyingly, the fan practice is proving to have some effectiveness.

We got a cryptic tweet from GTA V's Michael's actor in return for our pestering, and now, it looks like Franklin is next. Fortunately for Shawn Fonteno, he's seemingly a little more understanding of the weight of Rockstar Games' wrath.

GTA V's Franklin voice actor teases GTA VI - then deletes it

It looks like the voice actor for GTA V's Franklin had something to say about the upcoming game - but he's pulling back for now.

Seemingly unprovoked, Fonteno took to Twitter and said, "If I told y'all I'd get in trouble," before promptly deleting it. He knows something. As with any good GTA rumour, we're leaping to conclusions here, and there's a chance Fonteno is trolling us because he knows GTA fans will run with the most minute details.

Not content with his tease days ago, Michael voice actor Ned Luke chimed in after his own tease, telling Fonteno to "go play Modern Warfare," seemingly urging him to keep quiet.

Shawn Fonteno confirms… something

Not only is this tweet indicating that Fonteno knows something about the upcoming GTA game, he also took to Instagram to make another strange post - sharing a black rectangle with only the word "yeah" in the middle, before deleting it.

Some are theorising that this is in response to fans wondering if the core cast of GTA V could return in the new game - but again, this is all so vague. We've heard about Lucia and Jason leading GTA 6, but that doesn't mean the old crowd won't appear. We don't know what to do with it, but could Trevor's Steven Ogg be next to confess?
