In a bid to find the next big content creator, FaZe Clan has launched their annual initiative, and this time it comes with a winner-takes-all $1,250,000 prize and place amongst one of the biggest esports and gaming organisations on the planet.

FaZe1 will follow in the footsteps of their usual FaZe5 completion, which saw thousands of aspiring content creators enter the competition for five places in the organisation including the likes of Hayden "FaZe Nio" Eller who is considered to be one of the top Call of Duty: Warzone streamers.

Now, the Clan leader Richard "FaZe Banks" Bengston has launched FaZe1, which will feature a 20-person reality TV-esque streaming competition in Los Angeles, as they hunt for the next member of their illustrious company.

FaZe Clan Launch FaZe1 Competition

FaZe1 will see the content-rich organisation search for one entertaining personality. With thousands of applicants expected, the org will review each and every candidate and narrow them down to just twenty of the best, before flying the finalists to a Los Angeles based content house to compete in a reality TV styled 24-hour live stream to see who excels in the true FaZe way of living.

The winner will land themselves a contract with FaZe Clan, $1,000,000 in cryptocurrency courtesy of Moonpay, a $250,000 contract with GFuel, and a Nissan GTR car.

Aspiring streamers or content creators have until February 10 to register for the event, and will all have to submit a FaZe1 Open Challenge video. Minors will also be able to enter the competition with the consent of a parent/guardian - who can forget the RowdyRogan saga of last year?

The organisation does have a storied past with cryptocurrency, making the hug prize somewhat scrutinised. Previously, members of FaZe Clan were kicked after being involved in a crypto scam with the "Save The Kids" foundation.

However, the organisation has continued to pursue their interest in the futuristic currency, and will now donate $1,000,000 to the winner of the FaZe1 competition.

Even though the FaZe1 competition is designed to find one extremely talented creator, it's worth noting that the likes of Alexander "FaZe Adapt" Pinkevich and Cameron "FaZe Kitty" were unsuccessful in their applications, but later joined the org.
