Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout debuted on August 4, and proved so popular that the concurrent users sent its servers into meltdown just hours into launch. Arriving as a free-to-play title for PlayStation Plus members and for a respectable £15.99 on Steam, dedicated players can enjoy all of the new DLC, costumes, and levels that have been added to it.

While there's already a lot for new users to take in - from exciting new maps and a range of exciting outfits to unlock and play with - developers Mediatonic refused to wait before unveiling what the game has in store for players.

Fall Guys welcomes new levels, DLC & content

Revealing the exciting news on their official Twitter account, Fall Guys stated: "You're probably all wondering... What's next for Fall Guys? Well, we're going to be releasing new levels, new costumes, and new features".

On the game's first day, Mediatonic confirmed Fall Guys' reception had surpassed all the anticipated downloads. The account claimed that at lunchtime alone, over 120,000 people had joined the fun online. Mediatonic initially asked followers to bear with developers for 30 minutes while they did what they could to "beef up the servers".

However, another hour later, they apologised to players through the Fall Guys official Twitter account, stating that the task was a bit more challenging than they'd first anticipated and that they probably shouldn't have put a designated time on when the servers would be "fixed".

Despite the game's initial problems, it didn't stop Fall Guys from making its way to the number one charts in Steam - while continuing to trend on Twitter throughout the day of launch.
