Epic Helldivers 2 cosplay is inspiring Managed Democracy across the galaxy
Since Helldivers 2 first dropped us into battle in February, there's seemingly been no stopping Arrowhead Games Studios' cooperative shooter. As the long-awaited follow-up to 2015's Helldivers, the sequel has done far more than just switch from its top-down perspective.
As we've banded together to free Malevelon Creek, fight against Star Wars-inspired walkers, and blow our favourite planets to kingdom come, the PlayStation and PC title has spread democracy across the galaxy. However, it seems it's not just in-game that we like dressing up, with an epic Helldivers 2 cosplay going viral.
Helldivers 2 cosplay spreads democracy across the galaxy
Over on Reddit, Helldiver u/GalacticArmory has shown off their cosplay, dressing as a democracy-spreading soldier worth of Arrowhead itself. The OP has just finished their suit, which we can imagine fitting in perfectly at the next gaming convention.
Loving the look of the Helldivers cosplay, one fan cheered, "That is insanely good with attention to detail almost looks too good to be real lol." Another added, "We see the reference picture now where’s the cosplay," and a third said, "If that doesn't inspire Democracy, I don't know what does."
You can make your own Helldivers 2 armour
Looking back through Galactic Armory's Reddit, you can follow the journey from conception to wardrobe, with them also posting a YouTube on how you can make your own B-01 Tactical Armor. It's so realistic that some thought it was a miniature, although we can see Galactic Armory in action while wearing it.
They 3D-printed the entire thing, and if you check out the Galactic Armory YouTube, they have some equally impressive Star Wars armours for the likes of Boba Fett and a Medieval Captain Rex, as well as plenty of Master Chief armour to honour Halo.
If you've got the ability to 3D print, you can make your own equally impressive Helldivers 2 armour. Galactic Armory has a Patreon with a monthly subscription that gives you access to the blueprints for its builds. So, why not gather your own squad and get ready to kick Terminid butt in real life?
