CouRage Hits Apex Legends Predator Rank - The First Warzone Streamer To Do So
In its tenth season of existence, Apex Legends has finally attracted some of the biggest players in the battle royale and FPS genre, quickly taking over Twitch and the viewership of its rivals.
With a brand-new legend and Rampage LMG, a three-map rotational basis, and a faced paced gameplay paired with a range of engaging abilities, a huge number of top-tier streamers have currently been flying out of the dropship at break-neck speed.
One of the first to make the switch from a tedious and stagnant Warzone (driven away by hackers whilst the developers scratch around for an anti-cheat), was Jack "CouRage" Dunlop. As a stalwart in the Call of Duty scene through an extensive career as a caster, CouRage's switch to Apex started a domino effect, and his decisions have since been rewarded.
CouRage Hits Apex Predator Rank
After playing without a ranked playlist in Warzone for eighteen months, the streamers filtering to Apex Legends have enjoyed the grind through a competitive game mode.
Now, CouRage has reached the highest possible rank available in Apex Legends, having secured Apex Predator status.
Taking to Twitter, CouRage said, "To the thousands of people who have tweeted me I got carried and that I’m not good enough to get Predator, you’re all trash.
"Spend more time getting better at the game instead of chirpin'."
The achievement came after CouRage and his squad took home first place in a Masters game, whilst racking up 7 assists in the game.
Apex Predator is the rank for the top 500 players in their respective consoles, adding a huge flex onto the title and allowing you to enter an elite bracket of players.
So far, the likes of Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff and Dennis "Cloakzy" Lapore have managed to grind to Masters rank, whilst Timothy "TimTheTatman" has used his limited time on the game to reach Diamond.
As for what's next for the new Apex Predator, many fans and viewers have suggested getting used to "fragging" in public lobbies, growing skills in combat and movement, rather than positioning and game management.
