A Chilean YouTuber, Tomás "Tomiii 11" Blanch, has tragically died following a fight with brain cancer.

Tomiii 11 had shared his dream of becoming a famous YouTuber, and as a result managed to achieve over eight million subscribers to his channel, in a move that eventually broke the record for the highest organic growth in YouTube's history.

His channel, which started sharing videos just three months ago, currently has 8.89 million subscribers. His content included videos about cooking, gaming, and even unboxing. His most recent video was uploaded a week ago, and has 3.3 million views at the time of writing.

Tomiii's popularity skyrocketed after he told the story of his brain tumour online, which affected parts of his body, including his eyes. He also shared his dream of becoming a famous streamer.

Tributes pour in for 12-year-old YouTuber Tomiii 11

The YouTube comment section of Tomiii's channel has been flooded with beautiful comments, celebrating the life of the incredibly successful streamer.

One person wrote (in Spanish): "This child showed us that it is never too late to achieve our dreams, Tomi was a child he wanted to fly like us, learn many things, play outdoors, and unfortunately he is no longer with us to share the achievement that few YouTubers achieved, thank you for motivating the people and don't give up, rest in peace Tomiii 11, you will be an angel in our hearts."

Another comment, also posted in Spanish, said: "Since I found out that Tomi had fulfilled his dream of becoming a famous YouTuber, I subscribed without thinking, but then I didn't hear anything about him until today, and I feel bad and sad because I never left a comment.

"Now that I am, I know he will never be able to read it. But, I am still happy because he fulfilled his dream, he did not pass without achieving it, he was a true warrior. Greetings to heaven, friend! You are a great example for humanity, GREAT TOMII!"

How many awards did Tomiii 11 get in his incredible YouTube career?

Tomiii absolutely achieved his dream, he not only smashed his original goal of one million subscribers, but also won YouTuber of the Year at the Copihue de Oro, and Best YouTube Account at the Giga Awards. YouTube themselves also, of course, sent him the famous play buttons whenever he hit a new milestone.  Incredibly, he managed to bag himself 500,000 additional subscribers within the space of one day, in a feat that would impress even the most seasoned of YouTubers.

According to Chilean publication Meganoticias, his family are "dismayed". Tomiii's uncle, Alejandro Blanch, said: "My brother and my sister-in-law are devastated. We believe that it has really been a kind of sweet and sour. He has won all the awards. He only wanted to tell his story of daily life, his horses, chicks, and cats on his YouTube channel. It was very moving."

Rest in peace, Tomiii 11.
