Looking to use the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower to unlock a chunk of the map? Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes after the previous game by having players seek out towers to unlock the map. The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower reveals a big part of the east of the game's map. Here is what you need to know to find and activate the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower is the most eastern Skyview Tower and can be found northeast of Hateno Village. If you have not yet been to Hateno Village, it is south of Zora's Domain, and east of the Dueling Peaks.

There isn't much to say or do about finding or making your way to the tower. It is at the top of one of the tallest mountains in the game, it can be seen from miles away. The hardest part is making the climb, which we will discuss below.

There is no puzzle or enemy presence to keep you from the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, only Mount Lanayru itself. The mountain is huge, easily one of the biggest climbing challenges in the game.

Furthermore, the mountain is very cold. You need level two cold resistance to not freeze and take damage in this area. Thankfully, you should have one piece of cold-resistant clothing from the tutorial on the Great Sky Island.

That won't be enough by itself, so bring plenty of dishes with peppers, or a fire weapon to keep you warm. With enough cold resistance, you need only climb the mountain to reach the tower and fill out this part of the map.

That is it for our Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower guide. For more on the game, check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower guide.
