All New Warzone Perks explained, including Shrouded, Irradiated, and Resolute
With the MW3 port comes three new Warzone Perks including Shrouded, Irradiated, and Resolute alongside Combat Scout.
This year, Warzone Perks became exclusive to the battle royale, as the Call of Duty developers finally released some different loadout boosts that will help define your playstyle that wouldn't be available in the corresponding multiplayer title.
The trend of new Warzone Perks started with Combat Scout, and now heading into this new Modern Warfare 3 era there will be three new Warzone perks that are all designed to give you different edges over your competition.
So, before the Modern Warfare 3 port comes into play, here's all you need to know about the new Warzone Perks including Shrouded, Irradiated, and Resolute.
New Warzone Perks explained
- Shrouded: Drops a Smoke Grenade automatically when downed.
- Irradiated: Move faster and take less damage when in the Gas.
- Resolute: Increases movement speed when damaged.
At face value, the Apex-and-Bangalore-like Resolute Perk appears to be quite a valuable perk that would suit those run-and-gun players down to an absolute tee, helping you to stay alive when you engage a fight and make sure you can slip away swiftly.
Shrouded might be more popular with more standoff-ish players, and can be the perfect cover for anyone who dies to the one-shot snipers.
Finally, end-game specialists will absolutely thrive with Irradiated, which will make surviving in the gas much more viable, especially with stims and the newly added gas mask toggle, and could be the perfect perk to get out of a loadout late in the game.
How will the MW3 Warzone Perks work?
It appears that none of the Modern Warfare 3 perks will be included in Warzone, as the multiplayer system has overhauled the standard system in favour of "Gear"; selected boots, vests, and gloves will all have perk-like benefits, such as a pair of footwear that will silence footsteps in a Dead Silence/Ninja-like manner.
Instead, the Modern Warfare 2 and pre-existing Warzone perks will be available as the only Warzone Perks, with these three new options added.
It's not yet clear which categories these Perks will fall in though, so it might not be viable to take away Ghost, Restock, or something else vital to your Warzone loadout.
These Perks will come into play when Warzone is updated with the Modern Warfare 3 integration on November 10.
