Mini Royale is what it sounds like — a condensed variant of traditional Battle Royale. The match starts with fewer players, and the safe zones on Al Mazrah are tight from the rip.

These changes work to limit downtime and create an experience that's action-packed from the beginning. There's never a dull moment in Mini Royale, and the match will be over before you know it!

What Is The Difference Between Mini Royale And Resurgence?

At a glance, Mini Royale may sound awfully similar to Resurgence. However, there are key differences between these two modes.

Mini Royale is much more in line with the traditional Battle Royale experience. When you die in Mini Royale, you still visit the Gulag, and if you fail, your teammates have to buy you back with Cash. In Resurgence, however, there is no Gulag. As long as one of your squadmates is alive, the rest of your team will automatically spawn back after some time.

Resurgence also features a plethora of Self-Revives and Fire Sales, whereas Mini Royale tends to follow the same rules as regular Battle Royale.

While both modes are far more frantic and livelier than the traditional Battle Royale, Resurgence is the busiest of the two, with enemies respawning in droves at all times. Since you have to reach a Buy Station and fork up a bunch of Cash to get your allies back in Mini Royale, Mini Royale tends to be a bit more slow-paced and tactical.

That's all you need to know about Warzone 2 Mini Royale. Dive into Mini Royale starting December 14, 2022, with the Season 01 Reloaded Midseason Update.
