A meta Warzone 2 Lachmann 556 loadout will allow you to dominate your foes in Season 4 and give you everything you need to carry your matches.

Since the Cronen Squall battle rifle was hit with heavy nerfs, the Lachmann 556 has risen up as the top-tier long-range gun in Warzone 2.

Currently sitting near the top of the popularity rankings in the game, the Lachmann 556 has a powerful TTK and brilliant stability, meaning it's perfect for locking onto targets from afar. Of course, if you want to maximise this gun’s output, it’s key you utilise all of the meta attachments.

Luckily, we've got you covered with the best Warzone 2 attachments for the Lachmann 556 in the current meta so you can excel with the Assault Rifle.

  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Barrel: 15.9” Lachmann RAPP
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Magazine: 60-Round Mag

For starters, kick off the Lachmann 556 Warzone 2 loadout with the Harbinger D20 muzzle and the 15.9” Lachmann RAPP Barrel to boost the gun’s bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control. It’s worth noting that the Harbinger provides sound suppression as well, which is key if you’re looking to remain undetected while taking down a foe.

Next, use the FTAC Ripper 56 Underbarrel to significantly increase your recoil stabilisation and your aim idle stability. This makes the Lachmann 556 a laser beam that will lock onto your enemies and give you the chance to land those all-important headshots.

Don’t forget to use the Aim OP-V4 optic if you’re looking for a clean scope that thrives at long-range.

Finally, round off the Lachmann 556 Warzone 2 loadout with the 60-Round Mag so you can take out multiple opponents without having to reload.

Perks

  • Perk 1: Overkill
  • Perk 2: Bomb Squad
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost

Equipment

  • Lethal: Grenade
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

While the Lachmann 556 can certainly hold its own at close quarters, running Overkill gives you access to a meta SMG. We recommend the new ISO 45 or the classic Lachmann Sub, as both make dealing with face-to-face enemies a breeze.

You can also opt for the SO-14 if you'd prefer to have a DMR-style semi-automatic rifle in your back pocket, but there's a chance you'll struggle against aggressive foes at close quarters.

Running Bomb Squad is advised as it will prevent your elimination spree from being interrupted by a deadly enemy killstreak.

Following this, Fast Hands is a brilliant choice as it means switching to your SMG instant, as you’re less likely to be caught off-guard by an aggressive foe.

When it comes to your Ultimate, Ghost is top-tier as it keeps you off enemy UAVs, which is essential, especially during endgame circles. Finally, round off the setup with a Grenade for putting pressure on opponents hiding behind cover and Smoke to cover your tracks while rotating.

If the Lachmann 556 doesn’t quite fit your style of play, then consider checking out the Tempus Razorback.

Only recently added with the Season 4 update, the Tempus Razorback is a hard-hitting AR that’s brilliant in mid-range gunfights thanks to its devastating damage.

While the gun doesn’t quite match the popularity of the Lachmann 556 it still maintains a respectable 2.5% pick rate, putting it at seventh in the overall rankings.

So, there you have it, that's the best Lachmann 556 loadout in Warzone 2's current meta. Be sure to check out our Warzone 2 homepage for all of the latest news and guides.
