Wargroove 2: Release date, trailers, gameplay & more

Wargroove 2, the sequel to the original indie darling, was revealed during the Nintendo Direct for September 2023, so you’re probably wondering about the release date and how the game plays. Well, look no further, because we have everything you could need.

Wargroove 2 is the follow-up to 2019’s Wargroove and brought to you by Chucklefish and Robotality. With the promise of new factions and new ways to play, this sequel is sure to be a boon for newcomers and veterans alike.

When is Wargroove 2 released?

Wargroove 2 will be released on October 5, 2023, meaning, at the time of writing, there is a little under a month to go before players will be able to get their hands on it.

Wargroove 2 will be released on PC and Nintendo Switch. While the first game also saw Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases, it is too early to say if this will be the same for its sequel.

With trouble brewing in the land of Aurania, newly unearthed relics have sent factions into a frenzy as they seek to utilise their power.

From the land, sea and air, you will command your factions to take on epic battles, level up your units and embrace a roguelike turn-based conquest.

Wargroove 2 also features online and local co-op multiplayer, so you can play with or against your friends.
