Is there a Princess Peach Showtime release date?
Click to enlargeFans don't need to wait too long, as during the recent Direct event from Nintendo, it was revealed Princess Peach: Showtime launches on March 22, 2024. Fans might remember that a Princess Peach game for the Nintendo Switch was announced some time ago, and it seems we are finally getting it.
Anyone who is very excited about this new Princess Peach game can head to the eShop and pre-order the game now if you so wish.
Are there any Princess Peach Showtime trailers?
The first trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime was revealed during the Nintendo Direct on September 14, 2023. The trailer gave us our first look at the game, the story, and the gameplay.
From this trailer, we have learned that Peach has had a trip to the theatre go very wrong, and she must fight off a horde of baddies called the Sour Bunch, which she can do by transforming into various forms.
All Princess Peach Showtime transformations so far
Click to enlargeAs mentioned, one of the core parts of Princess Peach: Showtime's gameplay is Peach's ability to transform into various new forms. These generally consist of a costume change more than anything, but each one gives Peach new abilities to use against the Sour Bunch.
The transformations we have seen so far are:
- Swordfighter Peach
- Detective Peach
- Patissiere Peach
- Kung-fu Peach
More transformations are confirmed for the game, but we will have to wait for further trailers or the release of the game to find out what other powers Peach will be able to acquire.
