Tekken 8 was initially revealed during the PlayStation State of Play in September 2022, after a small teaser at the previous EVO tournament. While it will retain the same core fighting game experience players would expect, it does make some alterations to the formula, with a more aggressive gameplay style and a new Heat gauge system.

How do you sign up for the closed network test?

Registration is confirmed to close on June 28 at 9 am BST (9 am CEST/midnight PST/3 am EST) and selection is based on a first-come, first-served rule. So, if you want to get in, click the link above and go sign up now.
When is the Tekken 8 closed network test?
There are two Tekken 8 closed network tests, but they take place within the same month, with the only major difference being the platforms they're available on.
The first closed network test will only be available for PlayStation 5 and runs from July 21 at 9 am to July 24 at 8 am BST. For other timezones, this will be:
- July 21 at 10 am to July 24 at 9 am CEST
- July 21 at 1 am to July 24 at midnight PST
- July 21 at 4 am to July 24 at 3 am EST
The second closed network test for Tekken 8 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|SD, and PC (Steam). This will take place from July 28 at 9 am to July 31 at 8 am BST. For other timezones, this will be:
- July 28 at 10 am to July 31 at 9 am CEST
- July 28 at 1 am to July 31 at midnight PST
- July 28 at 4 am to July 31 at 3 am EST
Tekken 8's closed network test will feature 16 playable characters and five stages to fight on.
Its purpose is to test the network quality before release, while also giving players a chance to feedback to the developers on gameplay and any new features.
