Spider-Man 2 gives web slingers the chance to get the symbiote suit and Venom powers after reaching a specific point in the main story. However, as any comic fan will know, the symbiote suit and abilities take their toll on Peter, meaning eventually they have to be left behind.

After losing new powers in the second act of the game, a lot of Spider-Man fans will be wondering whether they'll ever get the chance to wield them again. So, let's check out whether you can get the symbiote suit & Venom powers back in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

How to get Venom's powers back in Spider-Man 2

Yes, you can get the Venom powers back in Spider-Man 2 after you lose them during the main story; specifically, you regain symbiote abilities during the "Set Things Right" mission". 

Following this mission, you won't have access to the exact same symbiote suit and Venom powers you had before, but they'll be the equivalent abilities that come with the Anti-Venom Suit. For example, you'll once again be able to use the Symbiote Punch, but its name will instead be "Anti-Venom Punch" and its tendril colour will be white instead of black.

Keep in mind, as the Venom powers get taken away as part of the story, investing in the symbiote skill tree does come with the downside that you will lose those abilities for a period of time.

Yes, you can get the symbiote suit back in Spider-Man 2 by completing the main story. Once you've finished the full campaign, you'll be able to freely equip the symbiote suit at any time as if it were a cosmetic.

As the Venom powers and the symbiote suit are separate, you don't have to worry about wearing the Black Suit to access Venom's powers.
