Doctor Strange and Wong are some of the most iconic characters in the Marvel universe and now more players are wondering if they appear in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. If you've explored New York City in Spider-Man 2, you'll quickly realise you can find Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorium while swinging through the streets.

While the iconic location is brilliant to visit, fans are always going to hope they can meet both characters in the flesh during their Spider-Man 2 journey.

So, without further ado, let's check out whether Doctor Strange and Wong are in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

SPOILER WARNING: This guide may contain story spoilers, so be sure to proceed at your own risk to ensure details in the game remain a surprise.

No, Dr Strange and Wong are not in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. However, Insomniac did include an absolutely incredible easter egg that shows Wong getting in contact with Miles Morales during the story.

Following a huge set piece where Black Cat steals the Wand of Watoomb from the Sanctum Sanctorium whilst Wong and Dr Strange were away, Miles helps Felicia escape to Paris at the end of the mission.

Before Miles goes to return the artefact to its rightful place at the Sanctum Sanctorium, he first tries to use the wand to find Martin Lee a.k.a Mister Negative. Before he can do so though, the wand disappears, leaving a note from Wong that reads:

"Sorry, just got back from Nepal. The Doctor and I owe you one, Wong."

While some Marvel fans will be disappointed that Wong and Dr Strange were not around to make an appearance in Spider-Man 2, the easter egg is still an absolute gem in my opinion.

Hopefully, in what we hope to be a Marvel's Spider-Man 3, Sony can make it possible for characters like Dr Strange and Wong to be key players in the main narrative.

Only time will tell, but this is certainly an easter egg that will be appreciated by Spider-Man fans everywhere.

Now you know if Dr Strange and Wong are in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
