The Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons feature is a brand-new aspect of the series that borrows heavy influence from the DOOM glory kills. Shadow Warrior 3 strips things back to boomer shooter basics, and focused heavily on chaotic, fast-paced, gory combat in open arenas. Part of this gameplay loop is Gore Weapons, which lets you insta-kill an enemy to temporarily use a weapon from their body. If you want to know which each of the Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons does, we've got you covered.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: What Are Gore Weapons?

The Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons are different types of guns, grenades, and melee weapons that you can take from enemies by instantly killing them with a finisher. You have a finisher metre which has three bars, and using it on an enemy can take anywhere from one to three bars depending on the strength of the enemy.

You can refill your finisher metre by killing enemies and taking yellow finisher orbs. They are a key part of the game's combat loop, and can really get you out of sticky situations and help you clear an arena if used correctly. All the various Gore Weapons are listed below.

The first Gore Weapon you can access isn't really a weapon, but it's incredibly valuable in fights. Using your finisher on the basic Shogai enemy will steal their soul and add 100HP to your max health, while also granting five seconds of invincibility. This costs one finisher bar, and works as a great way to gain some breathing room in combat due to the damage immunity you gain.

The second Gore Weapon also takes one finisher bar, and requires you to use it on the Kugutsu enemies. You will reach into their head and pull out their frozen brain and eyeball, which acts like an ice grenade when thrown, freezing all nearby enemies. This is fantastic to use against tougher enemies as they are weaker when frozen, and as it takes only one bar, it's one of the best gore weapons in the game.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Equalizer

The Equalizer is a giant hammer that deals a shockwave in front of where it is struck. You can grab this Gore Weapon from the Oni Hanma enemies by using up two finisher bars, and as they have some of the biggest health pools of the Yokai, it's a useful way of finishing one off.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Disco Grenade

The Laser Shogun enemies drop a very powerful Gore Weapon called the Disco Grenade. It costs two finisher bars to insta-kill a Laser Shogun, but you can pull out a laser grenade, that when thrown, spawns multiple laser beams in every direction, eviscerating enemies. This one of the highest burst damage Gore Weapons in the game.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Penetrator

The Penetrator is a giant drill that staggers any enemy it touches and rips them to pieces if it's kept spinning on them long enough. Pressing the attack button with it in your hands will launch you forward. This requires two finisher bars, and can be taken from the Mogura Twin enemies.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Seeking Eye

The Seeking Eye acts like a grenade in some ways, but it follows your crosshair while immobilising enemies and eventually killing them. It can be earned by popping the eye out of a Seeking Shokera's head with two finisher points. This is a useful Gore Weapon in busy fights as it can stop a lot of enemies from swarming you with the stun feature.

The Swam Launcher requires two finisher bars, and is taken from the Slinky Jakku enemy. It acts like a firework minigun, dealing constant damage, and once the ammo runs out, it explodes, dealing even more damage in the surrounding radius. This is one of the highest damage Gore Weapons, and is essential in busier fights because of its clear potential.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Blade Of Hattori

The Blade of Hattori is taken from the Hattori enemy, which is a skilled swordsman who can block your bullets. It costs two finisher bars, but the sword lets you lock onto enemies and dash toward them rapidly to strike them down. You can also slow time with it, by pressing right-click on the mouse, letting you focus tougher targets around the combat arenas. It takes out most enemies in as little as three hits.

Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons: Hungry, Hungry Heart

This is another grenade-like Gore Weapon, and it can be taken from the Chef Oboru Guruma with two finisher bars. Throwing the grenade will activate a vortex which sucks all nearby enemies inside and deals constant damage. It's a valuable tool for thinning the horde when you are getting overwhelmed.

The last Gore Weapon is taken by killing the Gassy Obariyon enemy type, and is the only one that costs three finisher bars to acquire. It's a dual minigun that fires green projectiles, dealing high damage and tearing through the majority of the game's enemies.

Those are all the Shadow Warrior 3 Gore Weapons, and now you know what they are how to acquire them in-game.
