The Raft Advanced Crop Plots are some of the most useful structures in the whole game, as they allow you to grow sustainable food at a faster rate than normal Crop Plots, which takes the worry about food and hunger away. Raft is a survival crafting game, so you will need to devote some time toward making sure you have enough food to reliably explore without going hungry. So take a look at how to make the Raft Advanced Crop Plots.

Before you can craft one of the Advanced Crop Plots, you will need to acquire the blueprints for the small, medium, and large version. To do this, you'll firstly need to create the Raft Recycler, so you can make Trash Cubes for trading.

After this, head to any Trading Post, which can be found on non-story islands across the vast sea. All Trading Posts are tiered, starting at the first tier until you upgrade them by selling them rare fish. Earning rare fish can be done by catching fish with bait, so just grab as many as you can and then sell them all to the same Trading Post until it reaches tier two.

Once the Trading Post is at tier two, you will be able to buy the blueprints for the Raft Advanced Crop Plots, but do note that the small, medium, and large ones are separate. You can purchase these with the Trash Cubes you've made, and Trade Coins which are earned by selling rare fish. Each one will cost a single Trash Cube, and six Trade Coins.

Using the Advanced Crop Plots is the same as the standard ones. You will need to equip a seed and just interact with the plot to plant it. They will also need to be watered with fresh water or rain water, so they continue to grow. The small and medium Advanced Crop Plots can hold up to four seeds at once, while the large one can only hold a single tree. Each plot also holds different seed types, which are listed below.

Advanced Small Crop Plot

  • White Seeds
  • Red Seeds
  • Blue Seeds
  • Black Seeds
  • Raw Potatoes
  • Raw Beets
  • Strawberry Seeds

Advanced Medium Crop Plot

  • Pineapple Seeds
  • Watermelon Seeds
