If you've been enjoying Palworld, chances are you've found some Eggs in the wild to hatch Pals from, but you might also be wondering what the best breeding combos are so you can make your own.

There are plenty of different Pals for you to find in the world, and breeding them with each other can result in some amazing variations - or even completely new species that will improve your party.

As you progress through the game, and your focus goes from surviving to thriving, you'll begin to want Pals for specific purposes at your base or in combat, and that’s where breeding them comes in handy.

Breeding in the game will not only result in different types of Pals, but you'll also be able to pass on certain moves, passive abilities, and even them being Lucky (the game's equivalent of a Shiny).

Regardless of the combinations above, if you find a Pal with a move you like and a Pal with a passive ability you like, breeding them could combine the two - leaving you with your perfect Pal. Check out our guide on incubating an egg as it will be a big help with breeding.

Palworld is still in early access and we will continue to keep this page updated with more combos.

While every Pal has unique strengths, some are undeniably better than others. One fan-favourite Pal that's already emerged is Anubis, which can be hatched by breeding Penking and Bushi. With solid skills in Handiwork, Mining, and Transporting, Anubis is a great addition to any base - and it looks really cool!

Another great breeding combo is Kitsun and Astegon to get Shadowbeak. This is one of the best flying mounts you can get in Palworld and it's also a dab hand in combat. My final recommendation is to breed Mossanda and Pelallia to get a Lyleen, as this is an excellent Pal that's difficult to catch in the wild.

How to breed Pals

You'll need to reach level 19 before you can breed Pals, as this is the level you can purchase the Breeding Farm from the Technology tree. It costs two Technology Points and requires 100 Wood, 50 Fibre, and 20 Stone to build one in your base.

Your next step is to make a Cake - we've got a guide for that here - and put it in the box next to the Breeding Farm. Finally, place a male Pal and a female Pal in the Breeding Farm and wait for the magic to happen.

It took me a while to get everything set up to breed my first Pal, but it's worth the effort as this ends up being the easiest way to get rare Pals that would cause you a lot of hassle if you went out to catch them instead.
