How To Unlock MW2 Mastery Camos
You will need to learn how to unlock the MW2 mastery camos in multiplayer if you want to show off proficiency with the game's many weapons. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is set to drop on October 28 with the full release of the game, finally letting players jump into the brand-new multiplayer and duke it out. Like previous entries, you can customise your loadouts and weapons with cosmetics to help stand out from the crowd. How To Unlock MW2 Mastery Camos
Click to enlargeThere are four MW2 mastery camos that can be unlocked, allowing you to kit out your weapon of choice in multiple ways to show off your ability. Each of the mastery camos require different criteria to be met before you can unlock the skins and use them on your guns. As the multiplayer isn't officially out yet, we don't have a full understanding of how to get these weapons, but we do know the four camos and what the unlock description may be. They are:
- Gold camo - Complete all camo challenges for a weapon.
- Platinum camo - Complete all camo challenges in a weapon category.
- Polyatomic/Element camo - Unlock Diamond camo for all weapon categories.
- Orion camo - Unlock all camos for all weapons in the game.
Unlocking the Gold and Platinum camos is fairly self-explanatory, although it will take a while to complete the associated challenges. For the Polyatomic/Element camo, we're not sure how to get Diamond camo yet, so we don't have an exact idea of how to earn these camos. Lastly, the Orion camo is also simple enough, though again, it will take a while due to the criteria you need to meet.
The camo challenges that are needed for both the Gold and Platinum camos have also been leaked by a Twitter user (their name is too explicit for us to reference) who has been highlighting many of the mastery skins on their timeline. We'll show all of the challenges based on weapon category below.
