MW2 DMZ is always adding new guns to play around with, and the introduction of Season 2 Reloaded is no different. Unfortunately, the problem with new content being added is that it’s not always entirely clear what you’ll need to do to unlock it.
One of the latest offenders is the Tempus Torrent, a powerful M4 gun that has quickly grown in popularity due to its sheer firepower. If you’re a player who strictly sticks to MW2 DMZ, it may be a lot tricker to obtain than via traditional means, but that’s not to say it’s entirely impossible.

Where to find the Tempus Torrent in MW2 DMZ
Click to enlargeThere are two ways to unlock the Tempus Torrent in MW2. The first is perhaps the easiest but will require you to dive into the standard multiplayer.
Here, you need to get 25 double kills with marksman rifles in order to unlock. It can be slightly tricky, so we recommend playing some of the Ground War modes to find more players bundled together.
For anyone wishing to unlock the gun in MW2 DMZ, you’ll need to extract with the weapon in a match. While this may sound easy, it’s much tougher than you think.
Not only have you got to extract and survive, ensuring you don’t drop the weapon, but finding it can be challenging in the first place.
Unlike many other weapons in MW2 DMZ, there is no specific location for the Tempus Torrent or any weapon schematics you can grab.
At the time of writing, it appears the gun drops randomly from enemies you have killed, meaning you’ll need to loot every single body you come across in the hopes of finding it.
An easier way of grabbing the Tempus Torrent in MW2 DMZ is by asking a friend or finding someone else online who has managed to grab and extract with the gun. By them placing it into their insured slot, they will be able to drop it for you to exfiltrate with, mitigating the risk of losing the weapon for themselves.
It’s a bit of a laborious process, but thankfully, it only needs to be accomplished once. By completing any of these methods, you can finally unlock the Tempest Torrent in MW2 DMZ.
