After a year on PC and almost two years as a Nintendo Switch console exclusive, Monster Hunter Rise is finally coming to PS4, PS5, and Xbox consoles. Building up to the release of the new Monster Hunter Rise ports on Friday, 20 January 2023, more players are wondering whether they can pre-install the game so they can play as soon as possible at launch. Can You Preload Monster Hunter Rise?

Yes, you can preload Monster Hunter Rise before its 20 January release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. From Wednesday, 18 January 2023, Monster Hunter Rise is available to preload after you digitally pre-order it on PlayStation or Xbox.

Monster Hunter Rise is also coming to Xbox Game Pass as a Day One release. So, subscribers can pre-install the game right now at no extra cost.

In terms of download size on PS4, PS5, and Xbox, Monster Hunter Rise's file size is 27.210GB, 26.655GB, and 27GB respectively. None being too large a file size, you should be able to have your Monster Hunter Rise preload easily completed before its release time at 12AM GMT on 20 January.
