Does Monster Hunter Rise Have Cross Save?
One of the best features about Monster Hunter Rise is building up your character with a plethora of gear to choose from. It can be time-consuming, daunting, and require a lot of skill to get the monster parts you want to build the next big thing. Of course, with so much time and energy poured into that, players don’t want to risk starting again when moving over to another system.
Unfortunately, the answer as to whether Monster Hunter Rise supports cross saves is a resounding no. Any player who starts the game again on another system will also have to begin with a new character. This means any progress you’ve made previously will not count and you’ll need to start again.
This is a problem PC users faced when Monster Hunter Rise came to Steam and it seems Capcom hasn’t learned their lesson with the new release either. We’re not expecting the ability to be added in a post-launch update, but it would be nice to see the effort be made for players to jump around between systems in the future.
