You may want to know, is Hypercharge Unboxed on PS4 or PS5? The cooperative wave-based toy shooter has been released for PC and Nintendo Switch for roughly two years now, but it's yet to make its way to other platforms. While the devs have been vocal about their process for porting to the Xbox, there's still not much news about the PlayStation version. So check out if Hypercharge Unboxed will be on PS4 or PS5.

Is Hypercharge Unboxed On PS4 Or PS5?

The developers have previously planned a release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but we can't be 100% sure if this is still the main plan and if it's still going ahead. It would make a lot of sense to release the game on these platforms, as there are many players who don't have access to a PC or Switch that have been requesting it. As of writing this, Hypercharge Unboxed has also recently gone viral on Twitter, which has put more eyes on it, and seen a lot of fans requesting it to come to their platform.

Currently, we know the game is in development for the Xbox Series X|S, but we aren't sure if this is also the case for the Xbox One. The devs confirmed this on Twitter, stating that they are taking their time to release it in the best possible state, and that no concrete date is confirmed yet.

As Digital Cybercherries are a fairly small indie developer, it's unlikely they will also be working on a PlayStation port while the Xbox version is in development. We'll make sure to update this guide to reflect any information we receive on the future of a PlayStation version, such as an official announcement or a release date.

That's all the information we have on whether Hypercharge Unboxed is on PS4 or PS5, and now you know about the potential for a future release.

Check out whether there is Hypercharge Unboxed crossplay, and how it currently works.
