How to grab in Rocket League Knockout
Want to get to grips with your opponents? Here's how you can grab in the Rocket League Knockout LTM.
There's a new royale rumble in Rocket League. With inspiration from Epic's other child, Fall Guys, Knockout pits Rocket League's most daresome candidates against each other in a battle to the death. With the ball and goals stripped away, it's a battle of wits and strength, so grab your Merc and pull out a Topper worthy of a king.
Now that you're ready, you'll need to learn one key skill though... So, here's all you need to know about grabbing in Rocket League Knockout.
How to grab
All you need to do to grabĀ is hold your left trigger (L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox), or your left shift on PC, whilst dodging (flipping) at an opponent.
Similarly to how the spikes in Spike Rush or Rumble work, this will see your car latch on to the aura of another, and with an electrical charge between the both of you, you can yeet the grabbed car off the four platforms. Dodging again and releasing the trigger might be your best bet to get a real knockout.
What is grabbing in Rocket League Knockout?
For those familiar with Fall Guys, grabbing works in the exact same manner, and you might be quite familiar with the term griefing.
If this free-for-all battle royale element is new to you though, then grabbing is something Rocket League has never had before and comes as unchartered territory.
In the Rocket League Knockout LTM, grabbing is a way of latching your car onto another in a grapple, which can be a handy way of punting opponents out of the arena - which, after all, is what Knockout is all about.
