Find out how you can earn Battle Stars in Fortnite
Fortnite's battle pass system changes nearly every season, giving players new ways to acquire different rewards, and sometimes the system in place involves a currency called Battle Stars.
You'll want to earn all the Battle Stars you can to complete the battle pass and gain a large selection of rewards, so take a look at how to get stars in the game.
How do you get Battle Stars?
Battle Stars are awarded to players after they earn enough XP to gain a level, with five Battle Stars being awarded for each level gained. This also works for levels that you purchase with V-Bucks, so regardless of how you earn a level, you'll still get the appropriate amount of Battle Stars.
There's also a cap to the amount of Battle Stars you earn, which stands at 500, as you cannot get more than is necessary for unlocking everything in the battle pass.
Unlike the linear battle pass of some seasons where you level up and just automatically earn the reward, with Battle Stars you can select which rewards you want, in whatever order you want.
This allows players to save up their Battle Stars to get the more expensive cosmetics-like outfits, but there's nothing stopping you from progressing through it in the order shown in the battle pass menu.
It's also worth noting that if you get to the end of the season and haven't spent all your stars, they will automatically be used to redeem the items in chronological order.
