Fortnite update v29.30 has arrived, and it's a big one! Billie Eilish has arrived in the game as part of the third Festival season, while new LEGO features will keep building fans happy.

We've only just gotten used to seeing characters and Mythic weapons from Avatar: The Last Airbender around the Island, but soon we'll be seeing Billie Eilish diving out of the Battle Bus, as well as some new Marvel skins. Here are the v29.30 patch notes.

Billie Eilish joins Fortnite Festival

The third season of Fortnite Festival kicks off on April 23, meaning it's bye-bye Lady Gaga and hello Billie Eilish! The award-winning singer will get her own skin, instruments, and several Jam Tracks in the game.

There's a new Festival Pass with a free reward track including a Lavatronik Bass guitar, while the premium track (which costs 1,800 V-Bucks) will unlock a Billie Eilish skin and an Ultraviolet style for the outfit.

A new Billie Eilish skin will be available in the Item Shop later in the season when her new album drops.

New Jam Tracks to bop along to

It wouldn't be Fortnite Festival without some new songs to enjoy, so Billie Eilish fans can look forward to the following Jam Tracks being added to the game:

  • all the good girls go to hell (Item Shop)
  • Happier Than Ever (Item Shop)
  • Oxytocin (Premium Festival Pass)
  • Therefore I Am (Item Shop)

Epic Games has confirmed that more Jam Tracks will be added later in the season when Billie Eilish's new album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, drops on May 17!

Farm Friends are coming to LEGO Fortnite

Following the v29.30 update, you'll be able to recruit animals including cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs to your LEGO Fortnite village! To do this, you'll need to build an Animal House and tempt a wild animal back to your village with the help of an Animal Treat.

While this sounds like a charming addition to any LEGO fan's village, not everything is friendly in this update, as Bears can now spawn in LEGO Fortnite. These sleepy creatures shouldn't cause you too much trouble as long as you don't wake them up...

More Marvel skins on the way

Fortnite already has plenty of Marvel skins like Wolverine and Black Widow to add to your locker, but you can never have too many - and it looks like two more Marvel skins are on their way to Fortnite very soon!

Leakers have discovered a new armoured Hulk skin and a Hela skin, both from the MCU movie Thor: Ragnarok, which will likely appear in the Item Shop at some point in the coming weeks.

Turn off 'confrontational emotes'

With the v29.30 update, Fortnite players now have the option to toggle a new 'See Confrontational Emotes' setting in the Social Privacy menu. This will automatically default to only show these emotes from friends.

The emotes affected by this setting are Laugh It Up, Take the L, Whipcrack, and Make It Plantain. If you've got this setting switched on, you'll see the player standing still with no emote sounds or music.
