A new Fortnitemares 2023 Quest asks Fortnite players to travel from Secluded Spire to the Hall of Whispers - without touching the water.

The fact that neither of these locations is labelled on the in-game map makes this quest challenging enough, but a river entrenched between the two Fortnite landmarks makes crossing from one to the other without touching water even more tricky.

This primer details where you can find Secluded Spire and the Hall of Whispers in the free-to-play battle royale from Epic Games and how to travel between them without touching the water!

Where is Secluded Spire in Fortnite?

Secluded Spire is a landmark south-west of Slappy Shores and just north of the racetrack at Drift Ridge. Secluded Spire is one of the Oathbound Outposts added to the Island back in Chapter 4: Season 1 and is made up of a castle, a tall house, and a couple of huts. You can find Khaby Lame at Secluded Spire, too!

North-west of Secluded Spire, on the edge of the Snow/Ice Biome, sits the Hall of Whispers. This landmark originally served as an outpost for the Reality Warriors but is now home to the Arctic Assassin Character. Like Secluded Spire, the Hall of Whispers isn't labelled on the in-game map, but you can get to it by travelling south-west from Brutal Bastion.

With a surprising amount of loot and a built-in Launch Pad, the Hall of Whispers isn't a bad spot to drop!

One of the Fortnitemares 2023 Quests tasks players with venturing from Secluded Spire to the Hall of Whispers without touching the water. While these landmarks aren't too far apart distance-wise, a river stretching from Slappy Shores to MEGA City makes travelling between the two locations without touching water quite inconvenient - but not impossible!

There are quite a few ways to complete this Fortnitemares Quest. For starters, as long as you're playing regular Battle Royale, you can simply gather materials and build a pathway to the other side of the river. However, if you prefer Zero Build, you can instead wander north-east of Secluded Spire and use the prebuilt bridge west of Slappy Shores to get across the river to the Hall of Whispers.

Furthermore, there are plenty of Utility Items that you can use to cross from Secluded Spire to the Hall of Whispers. A Rocket Ram, Witch Broom, or a couple of Crash Pads are all more than capable of projecting you over the stream to the Hall of Whispers without ever getting your feet wet!

Whatever method you decide to implement, you will receive 15K XP for completing this challenge and get one step closer to unlocking all the spooky-themed in-game rewards available as part of Fortnitemares 2023.
