Where to find and how to use ODM Gear in Fortnite

With the introduction of ODM Gear to Fortnite, players can feel what it's like to soar through the skies like a member of the Scout Regiment in Attack on Titan. This brand-new Fortnite Mythic offers nearly uninhibited mobility, with the option to descend from the heavens and unleash aerial attacks on demand. This guide will teach you where to find and how to use ODM Gear in Fortnite.

Where to find ODM Gear in Fortnite

Omnidirectional Mobility Gear (ODM Gear) is available around the Island as floor loot, in Chests, and in a new type of container called Scout Regiment Footlockers.

Scout Regiment Footlockers are unique in that they always contain ODM Gear or the other Fortnite x Attack on Titan Mythic, the Fortnite Thunder Spears. With that, Scout Regiment Footlockers are definitely the most reliable source of ODM Gear in the game.

While Scout Regiment Footlockers are scattered across Asteria, they are most prevalent in the Medieval Biome. The Citadel, Anvil Square, and Scattered Slabs are all home to at least three Scout Regiment Footlockers.

A quick trip to Jaeger’s Family Basement at Anvil Square or Shattered Slabs and its surrounding area will have you stocked with ODM Gear.

How to use ODM Gear in Fortnite

With the ODM Gear equipped, you can begin soaring around the Island at breakneck speed. The grappling of the ODM Gear functions similarly to the Fortnite Grapple Gloves and Spider-Man's Web-Shooters.

What makes the ODM Gear truly one-of-a-kind is that you can hover mid-air before lunging out and attacking with the built-in blades. After executing an attack, you will automatically retreat into the air and can choose to grapple away or strike again.

All ODM Gear-related Fortnite Quests

To unlock the Fortnite Eren Jaeger Attack on Titan Skin and really get into the role, you must show your mastery of the ODM Gear. Half of the Eren Jaeger Quests involve using the ODM Gear in various ways. The ODM Gear-related Quests include:

• Damage opponents while airborne (300)
• Hit opponents with ODM Gear attacks or a Thunder Spear (7)
• Hit the nape of different Titan Targets with ODM Gear attacks (4)
• Swing from three different trees in a row using ODM Gear (1) 

As you get familiar with the ODM Gear, you'll be able to complete most of these Quests naturally. As for hitting the nape of different Titan Targets, you can find Titan Targets in the Medieval Biome near the Scout Regiment Footlockers. There are Titan Targets at Shattered Slabs and Anvil Square, plus the Coastal Battlement, Royal Ruin, Western Watch, and Pleasant Passage Landmarks.
