Fortnite IO Credentials are the key to masquerading as a member of the IO forces and gaining access to the Imagined Order's secrets. The Fortnite Week 6 Resistance Quests assign us the mission of eliminating IO forces to steal IO Credentials, and then delivering IO Credentials to The Imagined of The Seven. Find out more in our rundown below.

You eliminate IO focus the same way you'd eliminate any enemy in Fortnite. Visit one of the locations where IO forces reside and gear up your arsenal. Scout the area and pinpoint a member of the IO forces to target.

IO forces will drop their IO Credentials upon being downed. Quickly approach the loose IO Credentials and interact with them to steal them.

It's important to show caution when walking into IO-controlled land. These aggressive NPCs attack on sight. Even worse, certain locations such as Command Cavern and The Fortress are guarded by IO Bosses like Gunnar and Doctor Slone. A run-in with these powerful foes could mean an early death if you're unprepared.

Where can you find IO forces?

Before we can steal IO Credentials, we need to know where to find the IO forces that possess them. IO forces patrol locations occupied by the Imagined Order (IO). Right now, the list of IO-controlled territories consists of:

  • Command Cavern
  • The Fortress
  • Tilted Towers
  • Rocky Reels

As the weeks progress, the IO will lose more and more territory to The Seven and The Resistance. Eventually, Command Cavern and the Fortress will be the only locations where you can find IO forces.

With the IO Credentials in hand, make your way to The Joneses point of interest. The Joneses is pretty far from any location with IO forces, so you'll probably want to commandeer a vehicle or use a Rift or Launchpad.

If you don't make it to The Joneses in the same match that you steal IO Credentials, you can still deliver them to The Imagined in a different match. You won't ever lose the IO Credentials once you steal them the first time.

The three potential sites where you can deliver Fortnite IO Credentials are all relatively well hidden. You'll need a sharp eye to spot these delivery points.

Perhaps the sneakiest of the IO Credential delivery points is on the western border of The Joneses next to a tree and some bushes. You can just make out the spot to leave the Credentials among the foliage.

A second IO Credentials drop-off point is directly behind the Reboot Van at The Joneses, beside a tree stump.

The last place where you can deliver IO Credentials to The Imagined is at the southeast corner of the hayfield situated at the northeast corner of The Joneses.

The Imagined will be quite satisfied once you deliver her those stolen IO Credentials. As a reward, you'll be granted 23k XP toward your Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass and Season Level. Furthermore, you'll gain access to the next Week 6 Resistance Quest.
