Here are the quickest and easiest ways to damage Guardian Shields to collect dropped Micro Chips in the game.
How do you damage Guardian Shields to collect dropped Micro Chips?
Firstly, you’re going to need a Guardian Shield. These can be found randomly around the map, but you’ll get better results by looting Oathbound chests. If you’re struggling to find where these are on the Fortnite map, we have a handy guide detailing the best places to find them.
With a Guardian Shield in hand, you’re going to want to throw it down. By doing this, it will deploy in front of you, allowing you to swap to another weapon of your choice. Once you have done this, continuously shoot at it until it begins to drop Micro Chips. Scoop these up and you will make progress on the challenge.
Luckily, you only need one for the challenge to be completed, so it’s pretty straightforward. If for some reason you are struggling to find a Guardian Shield in Fortnite, just continue to play naturally as you may come across an enemy who will use one against you. When this happens, fire at it for a chance to gain some Micro Chips.
