Every new season of Fortnite features a dose of map changes, and that's no different in Chapter 5 Season 2.

The Olympian Gods have found their way to Fortnite, and they've brought with them plenty of iconic locations to land at. So, let's review all the changes to the game's Island - including the POIs that have disappeared!

Map changes and all new POIs

Mount Olympus

Mount Olympus replaces Hazy Hillside in the southeast corner of the Island. Naturally, Mount Olympus serves as the home of Zeus, who you can defeat to claim the Aspect of Speed, the Thunderbolt of Zeus, and the Mythic Huntress DMR.

Brawler's Battleground

In the shadow of Mount Olympus is the war-torn Brawler's Battleground. This POI is just south of Mount Olympus and is where you'll find Ares. If you defeat Ares in battle, you'll receive the Aspect of Combat and the Mythic Warforged Assault Rifle.

The Underworld

In the northwest corner of the map now sits The Underworld, replacing Ritzy Riviera. This eerie POI is ruled by Hades, the God of the Dead. If you manage to overthrow Hades, you'll get the Aspect of Syphon and the Mythic Harbinger SMG.

Grim Gate

Grim Gate is the primary entrance to The Underworld and is guarded by none other than Hades' loyal watchdog, Cerberus. As the gateway to the afterlife, you can find Grim Gate southeast of The Underworld. Cerberus possesses both the Aspect of Agility and the Mythic Gatekeeper Shotgun.

New Landmarks on the map

While the four Points of Interest are the most notable map changes, there are some new Landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2:

  • Charon's Crossing
  • Pantheon Path
  • Summit Temple
  • Underworld Station

That wraps up all the map changes in Chapter 5 Season 2 of Fortnite. Some fan-favourite locations fell victim to the gods, but they've been supplanted by mythological-themed POIs and Landmarks straight out of ancient Greek folklore!
