As expected, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 has introduced an array of brand-new quests for players to delve into. Each awards a variety of XP and allows players to sail through the new battle pass with ease. Fortnite players are no strangers to these tasks, but the new set of challenges also adds a tiny bit of confusion for some, as some quests are marked as “await further orders”.

For anyone who is aiming to get through the battle pass as fast as possible, completing the numerous quests is a brilliant way of reaching the top tier. With the new Fortnite season dubbed Paradise upon us, a set of challenges under the same name have also been introduced.

These specific quests have you doing tasks such as establishing uplinks and investigating strange anomalies, and they often come in multi-tiered stages. The first, for example, is five separate stages that have you venturing across the map and completing various tasks. You don’t need to do all these in one go, but once you do, you’ll hit a roadblock.

Once all the stages of a Paradise quest in Fortnite have been completed, the next mission that players will be tasked with will be “await further orders”. With this in hand, there are no markers on the map to indicate where to go, which is understandably leaving some players confused.

Fortunately, the solution is extremely simple! All that is required is to simply begin another match on Fortnite. Once the game has begun, players will receive an incoming transmission, which details the next quest and steps needed.

It’s worth noting this process will repeat itself, with the “await further orders” message appearing every time you complete one of the Paradise quests. It’s a bit of a pain you have to keep jumping into matches to progress onto the next quest, but with the entire season still ahead of us, you should have plenty of time to complete them all.
